Gary Levi serves as Executive Managing Director of Helmsley Spear, LLC, where he focuses on securing capital, cultivating international partnerships, and supporting commercial, residential, and mixed-use real estate development projects.
Over more than four decades, Mr. Levi has built a distinguished career spanning international business development, strategic marketing, political consulting, corporate leadership, and economic development. His work has consistently centered on creating opportunities that connect businesses, governments, and global markets.
Mr. Levi is the Co-Founder and President of Visit Mexico USA, LLC, the principal marketing and promotional agency representing the Country of Mexico in the United States. He also serves on the Board of Advisors for Dignity Gold, contributing his expertise in international partnerships, strategic growth, and cross-border business development.
In 2014, Governor Andrew M. Cuomo appointed Mr. Levi as Special Assistant of the New York State Department of Agriculture and Markets. In that role, he helped advance statewide and international economic development initiatives that strengthened market opportunities for producers, manufacturers, and retailers throughout New York.
Previously, Mr. Levi co-founded and served as Chief Operating Officer of The Intrac Group, where he developed an innovative international business network that matched excess manufacturing capacity and inventory with global markets. The company managed more than $150 million in client inventory annually and purchased over $100 million in advertising media before its successful sale in 1999.
Earlier in his career, Mr. Levi served as Executive Vice President of Mediators, Inc., helping pioneer the media barter advertising industry. He also held senior marketing leadership positions with Glenmore Distilleries, contributing to the successful relaunch of Rémy Martin Cognac and several strategic wine and spirits acquisitions. Throughout his career, he has remained actively engaged in public service and civic leadership through numerous government, nonprofit, and community organizations across New York State.
